Terms of Service

1. Service description

DreamScrape provides a web scraping API that routes requests through different engine tiers. You send a URL, we return extracted content. Credit-based billing reflects the engine tier used.

2. Acceptable use

You agree to use DreamScrape only for lawful purposes. You will not:

  • Scrape personal data (emails, phone numbers, addresses) for spamming or harassment
  • Bypass authentication or access paywalled content you don't have rights to
  • Use the service to attack, DDoS, or harm target websites
  • Redistribute scraped content in violation of copyright law
  • Share your API key or allow unauthorized access to your account

3. Credits and billing

  • Credits are consumed based on engine tier used (HTTP = 1, JA4 = 1, Stealth Browser = 3, Anti-detect Firefox = 10, plus +10 for residential proxy and +2 for CAPTCHA solving).
  • Unused credits do not roll over between billing periods.
  • Paid plans include a 7-day free trial. You can cancel before the trial ends to avoid charges.
  • Refunds are handled on a case-by-case basis. Email support@dreamscrape.app.

4. API keys

Your API key is a secret credential. You are responsible for keeping it secure. If you believe your key is compromised, revoke it immediately from your dashboard or contact support. We are not liable for charges incurred from compromised keys.

5. Availability and SLA

DreamScrape is an early-stage product. We aim for high availability but do not guarantee a specific uptime SLA. The service runs on a single Hetzner VPS. We will communicate downtime via email when possible.

6. Robots.txt

DreamScrape respects robots.txt by default. However, it is your responsibility to ensure that your scraping activities comply with the target website's terms of service and applicable laws.

7. Limitation of liability

DreamScrape is provided "as is." We are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the service. Our total liability is limited to the amount you paid in the 12 months preceding the claim.

8. Account termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms. You can delete your account at any time by emailing support@dreamscrape.app.

9. Changes

We may update these terms. Material changes will be communicated via email. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.
